Hello all! We want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! We don't have anything much to share at this point about the adoption except that it's going slow. We are just saving money and praying daily and waiting to see what doors God will open in the future. Sometimes the waiting gets discouraging but we know that God is in control of the outcome and so we try to wait with joyful anticipation. This is REALLY hard for me. I know that patience is something that God is teaching me right now with the adoption process and some other things going on. Last monday at Bible Study Fellowship the teaching leader said something that struck home with me: "Impatience is usually a sign of spiritual immaturity." Wow and ouch! I have been feeling very impatient lately but in the end I have to ask myself, WHY? If I trust God fully as I should then there is no room in my life for impatience. So I pray for more patience and take each day at a time and try to think of it as the gift that it is.
